Do you believe in climate change?
I am prepared to accept that the climate may be changing slightly (because it always has), but I don't believe that all the negative effects claimed by the climate change propagandists are solely caused by climate change.
Take flooding of homes, for example. According to the propagandists, climate change causes excessive rainfall, which bursts rivers and floods homes.
But what about the drainage systems in housing estates? Might it be that these drainage systems are not being maintained? How many times have you walked past a drain cover and noted that the drain is totally blocked by sand and earth. Many times I'd suggest. When was the last time you saw anyone clearing the drains in your area? Councils are simply not fulfilling their statutory duties to keep the drains clear.
And what about guttering. It's well known that blocked gutters cause water to leak into buildings, yet how many people do you know that regularly clean their gutters? In city centres such as Aberdeen, a quick look skyward will reveal any number of gutters blocked with grass and weeds growing out of them. No one seems to take responsibility for this necessary task.
And in the suburbs how many homeowners clean their gutters regularly or employ someone to do this. I'd wager 80% never even think about it, 10% might think about it, and only 10% at most actually get round to doing something about it.
Isn't it bloody freezing at the moment? How can it be so cold if global warming is real?
So what do the news media do? They find wildfires somewhere else in the world to fill our screens (e.g. LA), just in case we dare to start doubting global warming is real.
And what about these wildfires in Los Angeles at the moment? Isn't it amazing how all these global wildfires seem to happen in very prosperous areas like Hollywood. Does that not raise some suspicions that there might be some green-wellied environmental propagandist going around starting these fires? We've seen how militant these environmentalists can be, blocking motorways and roads, preventing people getting to work, and even worse, sometimes funerals and hospitals. If they can be that militant who's to say they wouldn't resort to starting these fires to push their climate change agenda? And so often these types of people abhor anyone wealthy. Put two and two together and it does raise suspicion these fires are being deliberately started in areas inhabited by the rich.
These wildfires never seem to have an explanation and they always seem to start in multiple locations at approximately the same time. I believe someone is deliberately starting these fires in numerous locations.
So before we swallow the climate change agenda hook, line and sinker, ask yourself - could there be a more down-to-earth explanation? Perhaps we are not maintaining the systems intended to protect against flooding. Perhaps someone is lighting these fires.
And perhaps the entire climate change agenda is intended to line the pockets of those that seek to benefit, with the media being a very useful accomplice.
